Options & Characteristics Image

I have a product that has an option with one characteristic attached. In that characteristic there are several variants and when I add an image to the variant it will not show on the main product when selected from the dropdown.

Options cannot add their images to the main product.
Only Characteristics' variants will replace the main product images with theirs.

So what you're describing is normal as far as I can see.

I think I understand better. Maybe misleading because options has image field but you can't use it to show on main product.

How do you move "Price with options" to under the main price?

Even better, I would like the main price to update when options are selected.

Moving the price can be done by overriding the view "product | show_default".

There is already a updating price system in HikaShop as you can see in the demo website ("Price with options:" just above the "add to cart" button):
