Image display on mobiles

I am having a rough time trying to fix image alignment on mobiles with HikaShop, please see image attached. The product category and item images all stretch out too much on mobiles to meet a certain height, and it just looks horrible. I also need it to fit properly so the images display properly on PC. Is there a way to fix this?

Can I not just remove the image container (as it seems to be causing all the issues!)

I looked at your website but I'm not able to reproduce the problem. It displays normally as far as I can see, on a PC (chrome, firefox) and on a mobile (android).

That's because I have set the template to show normally on mobiles as I was having issues with the client's demands regarding mobile functionality.

No, when I tested, I saw the mobile version of your website on my smartphone and it was displaying properly. It was not the normal big screen display that I saw on my computer. Which is why I didn't see what could be the problem since it was functioning as expected.
