Integrated Payment Processing was created by Macks
Can you advise if there is a way to avoid the user being take away from the site to the payment gateway, so that the entire experience is within the client site?
Thanks

For now, the only options are to use the offline payment methods proposed: bank transfer, check, credit card collection, collect on delivery.
We'll develop in the future other payment methods which allow to process the online transactions directly on your website but that's not yet possible unless you build yourself your payment plugin: www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...r-documentation.html

Since that post, we added the AIM API support to the authorize.net plugin so that you can process credit cards directly on your website.
We also have a beta version of the eway payment plugin which also process credit cards on your website.
Payment plugins are available in all the versions of hikashop.

nicholas, will the eway plugin be part of the free hikashop? currently looking for an intergrated payment option, as authorize.net is US only and we are UK based.

Payment plugins are available in all the versions of hikashop. That will include eway. Did you happen to test the beta version we posted on the eway thread ?

eway plugin is shared payment (goes to a eWay page) and it's AUS only, from what i've gathered.
still looking for a UK (stay-on-my-site) payment solution

Indeed, they apparently have two different API based on the country.
The bluepaid, moneybookers and paypal integrations only allow payment through the payment plateform and not directly on site.
Only our authorize.net and eway integration allow for on site payment at the moment.
Note that you can always develop your own payment plugin for hikashop as we have an aPI for it. But you should first find a payment processor which meet your needs.
