Error in checkout: the page is redirected in a...

Hi,

I have another issue with the checkout. We get regularly the error "the page is redirected in a way that never ends", in different steps of the workflow. For example, if a new user registers and clicks on the activation link, there comes this error. Or when starting the checkout by clicking on "Proceed to checkout".

It is a new issue for us, we have tested over weeks without this problem.

What could be the reason?

Can you show me how did you configured you checkout workflow through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->'Checkout'" ?

I used the configuration you gave me yesterday (on my question regarding coupons), I just separated the login from the other steps and added the terms, because we need them.

Hi,

We were not able to reproduce the problem on your website. However, we found that the "force a menu on checkout" option was not configured properly. It was set to redirect to the same page via a menu of the type "url". That's probably why it was causing the redirect in some instances.
I've set it back to the default "none" and that should avoid any possible loops on the checkout and thus that error.
