how to access unpaid order?

We met such a problem many times:

Customer made a order and enter checkout process, but due to some reason, they failed to pay. In the backend, the order is created. The questions comes out: How the customer do payment for this unpaid order? is there any entrance for that?

I think that generally they will order their products again and pay this time.

that's a temperate solution: we cancel the order in backend,then ask customer to order again.

But I wonder is there a better solution?

If you turn on the option "Payment of orders not paid immediately" of the configuration, the customers will be able to pay for their unpaid orders via a "pay" button on their orders listing on the frontend.
