Currency doesn't change on same page on refresh

Hi,

Firstly, thank you Nicolas and team for developing Hikashop. I am using it on cake website ( www.chikkoos.com/ ) for months now and faced few probs but was able to get solution online. Today, I am facing prob with 'Currency Switch Module' and the prob is from last 4 days and I checked online for the solution but not helpful. Problem details:
I have currency switch module on every page but when I change the currency, though the page gets refresh, the currency and the product currency (euro) doesn't change to 'NZD'? I tried to delete all cache & done the option of 'purge cache' and then refresh the same page, but still the same currency. BUT if I click on any of the product or any other page, the currency is change to 'NZD'.It would be a great help if I can get the solution to fix it.

Hi,

From what you're describing and from what I can see on your website, that's a caching issue.
Please turn off all the caching on your website and it should work fine:
1. Disable the cache in Joomla configuration.
Site -> global configuration -> system -> "Cache settings".
2. Disable, if it's enabled, the joomla cache plugin.
3. Check your template' options for a potential cache option and deactivate it.

Thank you for quick response. Yes the cache option was enable in Global Configuration and I had disable it. There is no option of cache in Template. Still the problem is there of 'not updating'. Also, 'System-cache' plugin is enabled - does it need to disable?
Any more suggestions/advice ?

Yes, try to also disable that plugin.

Its been done after disabling 'system-cache plugin' option. Thank you.
