Make phone field not mandatory was created by dmd
The client has asked that when checking out and choosing to register rather than login, the phone field should not be compulsory. How can I do that?

Hi there,

Just go in Display>Custom fields and find the address_telephone custom field.
Then uncheck the required option for this line and it's done :).

I was talking about Hikashop menu :)
Display is between "affiliates" and "documentation"

I do not see that menu in Joomla! 3.0 with Hikashop 2.1.0.

I see that you're not using the standard joomla 3 backend template (the joomla menu bar is modified) or that you installed some extension which messes with the menus.

Please use the default template, and if you use an extension to personalize the menu bars deactivate it, and you will see the HikaShop menu bar.

Thanks Nicolas, I have found the problem to be caused by JSN Power Admin. I will have to inform them of this. I have found the setting and it is working as requested. Thanks for your help.
