gridlines on variant table

can you please tell me how I go about inserting visible gridlines into the variant tables for my products?

Could you be more precise about what you want? Variants a present as normal product in the product page so we would like to know exactly where you want this display.
About the dridlines itself, it's a css work so I suggest you to take a look at our documentation to learn more about how to do that kind of thing:

I'd like to have white gridlines on my table of variants - if you look on my website via the link below, you'll see that I have a lot of different sizes of one product, which makes it a bit difficult for the customer to select what they need so I thought that gridlines would help make it easier for the customer:
