Child products

Hello

Is it possible to add child products to 1 product?

I'm running a record label and 1 product would equal a release with sever tracks associated with it.

The only way i can think of achieving this with Hikashop is to create a category for each release... is that correct?

It depends on how you want to display them. Having a category per release and then the tracks as products is indeed a solution.

I would idealy want to display them like this: www.fatalmusicgroup.com/drum-mode/compil...e-deep-house-vol.01/

so 1 product with several child products (= tracks) listed inside it.

Clients can then purchase the entire product at once, or select only a few childs.

This is a nice feature in VM but haven't seen it in the documentation of Hikashop.

Having your release as a category and your tracks as products will enable you to display this.
You will have to create a menu of type hikashop category listing. That will create automatically a listing of categories where you will be able to navigate and access your products (tracks). You will be able to edit the hikashop options of your menu to display the description of your category and add the release information in the categoy's description. Then, you will be able to edit the display of the products listing by editing the hikashop options of the associated module automatically created for the menu. Then, a few CSS tweaks or views modifications and you will be able to achieve the same thing.
