Messages Do not close when "X" is clicked

-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Brave

When my Hikashop puts up a message the window will not close when I click on the "X" in the upper right hand corner.

EXAMPLE: Info Successfully Saved

or

Message
The cart is empty

If I refresh or click on a link or the menu, they go away as does the message.

Hi,

These messages are indeed pushed by HikaShop to Joomla. However, it is then your template which requests to Joomla the list of messages to be displayed on the page and displays them the way it wants.
So if the x doesn't work for these messages, the issue needs to be reported to your template provider as it must have forgotten something:
