Donation custom field

I am attempting to create a donation custom field - it is not working. Has the process changed?

Column name: amount

What do you mean by "it's not working" ?
Do you get an error when creating the field ? If so, what is the error ?
Or do you mean that you created the field, but it is not taken into account ?
Or something else ?

The custom field settings are ok.
Can you check that the donation plugin is enabled in the Joomla plugins manager ?
Also, could you provide a screenshot of its settings ?

Yes, the plugin is enabled. Yet, the donation plugin is not appearing on the page.
