Menu Structure

I am trying to structure my mainmenu (in part) as follows:

Cars (Catergory - does not open a new window)
  Ford (opens page with multiple items for sale)
  BMW (opens page with multiple items for sale)
  VW (opens page with multiple items for sale)
Motorcycles (Catergory - does not open a new window)
  Ducati (opens page with multiple items for sale)
  Triumph (opens page with multiple items for sale)
  Harley (opens page with multiple items for sale)

Do I need to use the "Extended Menu" extension?
Having the product pages (Ford, BMW, etc.) always visible is necessary.
Having the product pages (Ford, BMW, etc.) indented would be preferred.

Do not necessarily need to have a separate page for each product, but would also be workable.

I don't know about the Extended menu extension.

You can create your menus in joomla and then use the standard joomla menu module to display it but I don't know if you can have a menu without a link ? You might need something more advanced for that.
