Catalouge only no prices or cart?

Is there any way you can use Hika shop as a catalouge only that displays products with NO PRICES, and does NOT have a checkout facility? Are these options in the configuration that you can turn off? I couldn't find them. Cheers

In the config under the tab display you have the option "catalogue mode" that you can turn on. That will remove the "add to cart" buttons. If yo don't want to display prices, you can just remove the prices from your products.

Hi and thanks, I knew there must be an option somewhere. I turned on catalouge mode but prices still display. You say I can "remove" prices, but changing the price to "zero" just make the item display as "free". How do I "remove" prices? Is there an option to turn them off? Cheers

REmoving the prices set them as free indeed. You can then just change the text via translations edition screen in the config under the tab languages so that free isn't displayed, or set it to something else.

sorry, jsut one more thing. can't find how to display currency symbol. FInding the "help" screens a bit resrtictive because they don't have a search facility

If you want to search something on a help screen, you can use the search of your browser using the CTRL+F keys.
If you want to change the format of the currency, you should go in the menu System->Currencies, edit your currency and change the format to %n
