How to update essential version

Hello,

say you have an essential version 1.4.5 and a lot of display / views has been changed. Can I install the new version 1.4.7 and keep my modified views? Do I have to remove the old version first before install the latest version of HikaShop?

Hi,

If you update, you won't loose your modified views etc. You don't have to remove the old version, just install on top. Beware that your modified views might not be compatible anymore with the new code of HikaShop (we try to keep backward compatibility as much as possible but it happens) and in such cases, you will have to reapply your modifications to the new version of the view.
