rich snippets missing Author on votes

In the Google rich snippets test there are ! warnings which are related to the single votes on products. The reviews do show the author field but the single votes doesn't. The strange thing is that we have the option "only reviews" activated in the config tab "Votes & Reviews" in Hikashop. How to avoid this?

It's probably that you had votes activated in the past on your shop.
What you can do is go in the menu Customers>Votes and disable/delete the votes without reviews. That way, Google won't complain that you have votes without reviews.

Ok, that's a way of solving the problem, but then all the votes are gone. For votes in the future, why not add the author tag to the votes too?

The problem you have is actually that you have a third party plugin or some kind of customization which add this on the page:

It contains extra rich snippets to send the reviews data to google.
However, this plugin/customization treats a vote as a review, but without sending the author for votes.
In HikaShop's rich snippet, we only send reviews as reviews and thus this is a non issue.
So you would have to check with the developer of the code adding these rich snippets for the votes on the page to either send the author for the votes or omit the votes in there.
