delete entire charicteristic variant

Hi All,
I am trying to delete a characteristic variant using mass actions and not having much luck - I'm sure its an operator error!

in the mass action I filter the charicteristic
I select the characteristic as the filter - using the dropdownbox
I then configure to = and type in the name of the Variant - the results are 0

what am I doing wrong?
the variant is called Fine Art Print
and can be found here

Hi,

I just tried on my end, I added the value "Fine Art Print" in a characteristic, then added the variant on a product with this value.
Finally I set up a mass action like that: take.ms/iqh28

And it correctly found the variant and deleted it as wanted.

So please try to set up your mass action as I do, and if that doesn't help a screenshot of your characteristic settings and the variants could help us.
