Trigger on 1st bi-monthly

Is there a way to trigger a mass action on the first of the month on a bi-monthly basis? (eg. January 1st, March 1st, May 1st, etc)

There is no such option or easy way to do it. I can only think of developing a plugin to add such trigger to the mass actions, like it's done with the other periodic triggers in the system/massaction plugin.
