updating Brands via Mass Actions

Hi,
A question about updating Brands via Mass Action. If I remember correctly i used to do this via "update category" and choose the brand that needed to be added. If I do it this way now the brand is added to the normal category field and not in the brand field.

Am I doing it wrong?

- Your MassAction setting via a screenshot (take care to show us everything)
- What do you mean by "brand that needed to be added", added to what exactly?
- Can you precise with more details about what you try to achieved
=> Concrete case : "I have this"
=> expected result : "I want to get this"

Screenshot of the mass action is attached, there is really not much to see other than that


I have a list of products who have no brand and I want to add a brand to them using mass action.
In the product listing I select one or more products, go to mass actions and choose to edit the categories.
Then choose "add" and select the brand from the tree of brands.
Then click the process button.

I would have expected the brand to be added into the field "Brand" but it is added to the field "Categories".

You need to use the action "update the values" and select the column "product_manufacturer_id" and provide the id of the brand as value.
The "update categories" action is only for categories, not brands.

Would be a nice improvement if you could do it like the categories.
