Fixed value in filter

-- url of the page with the problem -- : scroos.if-icould.com/index.php/find-screws/self-piercing-screws
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : latest

I'd like to set a fixed filter.. where the value is set - hardcorded for the field (category).. is there an option for this? So when the page loads with the filter, it is already somewhat filtered with the default value I set.

Hi,

Turn on the "redirect POST mode" setting of the HikaShop configuration.
That way, you'll see the filter parameters in the URLs when you use the filters.
Then, once you have the URL you want, use that URL when creating an "External URL" menu item:
docs.joomla.org/Help34:Menus_Menu_Item_External_URL
And you'll have the link you want when clicking the link of that menu item, with the filter preselected like you want.
