Search filter translation not working

I translated the filter "Search" from Greek to English via Falang but it's not working.

You would have to check with Falang, not us. Falang is the one doing all the heavy lifting on the frontend to replace the original text with the translation and it is transparent for the extension.
However, before contacting Falang, I would recommend checking two things:
- that the Falang database driver plugin is enabled. This is the plugin handling the translation system on the frontend. If it's not enabled, the translations won't happen.
- that you don't have any page cache or module cache. If you do, you might actually be seeing the HTML of an old version of the filter, from before you created the translation for it. In that case, clearing the cache should help.

I talked to Falang about it and they cannot figure it out either, something is not right.
The placeholder in the search box says "αναζήτηση ..." in Greek but i tried creating a new one "test" and it still says "αναζήτηση ..."

If when you change the text of the filter the result doesn't change on the frontend, then it would confirm it is a caching issue.
I would recommend checking this, as I said in my previous message.
