get discount when 2 different products are bought

Is it possible to create a discount when a customer buys 2 different products on my site. My site intends to sell car suspensions that comes in Left or Right versions. I would like to give my customers a discount when they buy both left and right versions of specific suspension parts.

I am aware of the fact that discounts can be given when 2 of the same products are bought. However, I would like to create discount for different products.

It is somewhat possible.
You can create a discount of the type "coupon" restricted to a category with these 2 products in it (it can be their second category for example), with the minimum number of item option set to 2, and the auto load option activated.
The coupon will then be displayed on the checkout automatically if the 2 products are in the cart.
The catch is that the coupon will also be displayed if the customer purchase 2 left suspensions.
Alternatively, you could create a third product "left and right suspension" which would be the price of both products with the discount already included.

To do that you'll have to :
- Create unpublished categories and add them on each product configuration page
- Create a discount per product and restrict it on your product custom category.
