Discount/Coupon minimum order value

Hi
I want to set up a coupon/Discount that works like:
- customer puts products in cart from many different categories.
- the value in cart is bigger >=30.-
- If he puts a product from a specific category to cart he gets the coupon
- The total must not be < 30.- after the coupon has added

Maybe this example makes it clearer
Categories: A, B, C
- products in cart: A, B >= 30 .- --> customer can add product from C to cart and gets coupon
- products in cart: A, B, C >= 30.- --> As there is allready a product from C in cart customer gets coupon but only if value after coupon is >=30.

I hope you understand cause ist hard to explain :silly: Is this possible?

Maybe that can do it, because I don't see how something like you're trying to describe would be possible "out of the box" with HikaShop.

Please don't take it personal... it's your shop and your decision, but if it's "hard to explain" here, how are you going to explain it to your customers?

Well-meant hints:
"Simple" is good. "Simplest" is best. "Difficult" or "complicated" don't work. If your deal can't be described in around 12 words or less, most people won't get it... they'll likely not even try.

Well the customer doesnt have to understand. The coupon should be added automatically.
We promote a gift for purchases over 30 .-. And this gift is a product from this category where all products have the same price.
Showing a text like «Have you chosen your free product?» in shopping cart or checkout page is all it needs to inform the customer.
And that would be 6 words

The coupon system in HikaShop won't allow you to make such complex rules. As lousyfool said, you might want to see with AWOCoupon if their extension could allow for that.
Otherwise, a custom HikaShop plugin can be developed in order to handle any kind of rules, but of course, you need to be a developer to do that.
