How to use a coupon without quantity discount

I have an item that has a quantity discount that i want to make a coupon for. I want the item to be 25% off but off the full amount not the discounted amount when they order a high quantity.. is there a way to make it where it does not use the quantity discount when a coupon is applied?

Then why not adapt the percentage of the coupon so that you compensate for the discount difference ?
Otherwise, you can also try to change the "Coupon handling of discounted products" setting of the coupon to override the discount amount, but has that's not used much, it might not work properly or might do something else. So it would require some testing.
