discount coupon not spent all

hi, I have created a discount voucher of € 50 to a user, if the discount voucher of € 50 is not spent entirely during the purchase, I want the remaining sum to be available to the customer. how should I post it? I'll explain:

. The customer has a voucher of € 50
. the customer places an order of € 20 and applies the voucher of € 50 then pays € 0
. the customer must still have € 30 to spend

Hi,

There is no system to handle that. You could achieve it with a custom plugin which would calculate the remaining amount available, create a new coupon for the user with the remaining amount and send him an email with the new coupon code.
That would of course require some development.

What you could do alternatively is to create a mass action (menu System>Mass actions) to be notified by email when an order with a total of 0 is created so that you can manually calculate the remaining amount, create the coupon manually yourself and manually send an email to the customer with the new coupon code.
