Hi HikaShop Team and Community,
I’d like to propose a feature that could drastically improve the workflow for store managers who rely heavily on custom fields.
The Idea: Is it possible to add a feature on the product creation/edit page that allows us to
create a new custom field on the fly (inline) and immediately fill in its value for that specific product, without having to navigate away to the Custom Fields management section?
Why it’s useful: In stores with a large number of diverse products, we often encounter the need for unique or new specifications while adding a product. Currently, the process requires:
- Leaving the product page.
- Going to Custom Fields, creating the field, and saving.
- Returning to the product page, finding the product again, and filling out the field.
Having an "Add New Field" modal or quick-creation button directly within the product form would save an incredible amount of time and streamline catalog management.
What do you think about this idea? Is there any workaround or existing plugin that achieves something similar?
