Alllow multiple warehouses for product & shipping

As per the title, I know its been mentioned several times on the other forums but I don't see it under feature requests. A lot of places use multiple warehouses for this to be as flexable to the end user it would be benificial to be able to allocate stock to more than one warehouse as well as by postage options.
I am currently trying to work out a workable method to limit shipping options for various categories so one category only has one postage option. Unfortuntly when checking out they often dont have an account or are using a guest account.

Thank you for your message. We indeed have on our todo list the support of multiple warehouses per shipping method and the possibility to have several warehouses per product with different stock. But I can't give any date on such development. It could be a few months if someone pays for the development, or it could be years.
