It depends what you mean.
If you're talking about the same product being purchased with a quantity of 5, then simply set a second price in the product with a minimum quantity of 5 and a value of 30 and that will do.
If you're talking about 5 different products being purchased together, we'll need more information on what you want to do exactly to be able to help further. Are the products all in a category ? Can the customer purchase like 2 of one product and 3 of another and the discount still apply ? etc.

Please provide exact steps for both options. At least i finally got a response. I want it to show on front end and to be obvious that no matter what the five products are, for a limited time they are only 150 together. thank you

Unfortunately, your reply do not provide the all answers ; we can see that you do not want a restrictions and apply it to all products in your store but we are still not able to know what you want to achieve exactly about that discount.
Even if I got ideas on it, I am not sure of it. I don't think it will be interesting to talk about solutions which won't feet with your real request.

The customer is the judge of interactions not the propreitor. Nicholas not only was more patient but gave info that was understandable. Now since my time as is yours is limited on this earth i just want answers not attacks. Jerome is snide and lacks patient and a way to convey that is clear. Now i just want my answers.
