Category Hierarchy URL

Hi,

In the product pages, I would like to display my URLs in their respective category like this: mydomain.com/category-name/product-name

Currently they are as: mydomain.com/store-name/product-name, when I clicked on a product through the category listing.

I followed Nicholas's reply at this topic here . Creating a hikashop menu and linking my associated category with it, then entering the URL in the "canonical url" field of the category. But cant get it to work with the settings (see attached).

Any ideas?

You should indeed create a menu item with the name of the category as "alias" of the menu item and select that category as main category of the menu item.
Then, in the category settings you can enter the canonical URL /category-name and in the product you can enter the canonical URL /category-name/product-name and it should automatically use these in the listings unless you have some cache on the pages.
