Related products module not working...

Hi,

My guess is my limited experience with Hikashop Business is the reason for my issue, but I would appreciate any help in getting the related products module to work.

So far:
1. Added the module in the listing under Configuration > Display > Modules under the product page
2. Configured the module to show "Products" and "Related Products".
3. Added two related products to a product (see product referred to by URL).

Still the module seems to be displaying all products in the webshop...

I needed to choose "Yes" for the "Synchronize" option under "Data display" in the module.

Not exactly sure what this setting does. Is there any documentation about this module around?

Hi,

If you activate that option, the module will display its elements based on the current main element displayed on the page.
So on the product page, it will display the elements based on the product of that page.
On a products listing, it will display the elements based on the current category of the listing.
And if the option is deactivated, the module will instead use the "main category" of your module as base for loading its elements.

So yes, for a related products module, you want that option activated.
