Custom Field for ajax image upload

Hello,
I've just upgraded to Hikashop business essentials. So I can create a product with option for custom to upload their own image design. I found where the custom field is located but don't know how to set it up. Can someone help out?

Hi,

You want to create a custom field of the table "item" and of the type "ajax image".
Once you save it once, you'll have many display settings to choose where to display it.
I would also recommend looking at the documentation on this:

It provides information about the different settings.

I've added custom field. And then add characteristics. But the "characteristics selection method" only has dropdown and radio button. How do I go about making it similar to demo.hikashop.com/index.php/en/hikashop/product-page/with-form "upload a file" box.

Hi,

You can do this by clicking on the "new" button of the Display>Custom fields menu There, select the table "item" and the type "ajax image" and save. It will display an upload field on the product details page, like on the link you provided.
