Shipping Methods are not working - Urgent

Hi,

As far as I can see on the screenshot of your HikaShop, it says that you have 6 packages and not one while on the Australia Post website it seems that you only asked for the shipping price of one package.
You need to test with the same settings if you want the same result. I guess that if you test with only one product, you'll get the same result.
Remember that the Australia Post shipping plugin is only giving you the shipping price based on what Australia Post told him it should be. So if there is a difference between what the Australia Post website says and the Australia Post web service says, it means that the settings for the calculation are not the same.

Haven't looked at it for half a day now - now the Australia Post shipping note is not showing in Joomla 3 or 2.5. And I haven't touched anything.

As for the AUstralia Post shipping - its never going to work for products that can stack up on one another such as a food tray for example. What height can you give it as in my case each of the 6 products (identical) in my basket are 5cm tall. Hika adds the heights together so I get a total height calculated on 30cm in height.

So it looks like its a manual shipping is the only option available.

1. You ordered 6 products on your website, but did you set 6 products through the Australia post website or did you tested it with just 1 product ?
2. Also I think that you should turn off the "Group products together" to have the same value as the Australia post website for 6 products.

For those in the USA, note that if you disable the Country field it also breaks the Taxcloud plugin - took 4 hours to figure that one out.

The taxcloud plugin needs the country field to work, so if you want to disable the country field, you'll have to edit the code of the taxcloud plugin.

It is is easier and probably better to just use CSS to hide the country field, which is what I did in the end.

Less custom hacks the better when it comes to updating down the road.
