How to configure new PayPal - HikaShop PayPal Checkout payment plugin

Hi, the system is warning me that the old payment plugin will be discontinued, I would have thought that all the settings would be applied to the new plugin? how exactly do we set the new one up as there are additional settings - for example: client ID, secret and merchant ID? Where do we find these please and do you have a specific tutorial for this?

Hi,

The old PayPal plugin uses an old API of PayPal, which is totally different from the new PayPal Checkout API.
So, we had to develop a completely different plugin for it, with other settings adapted to that new API. Thus, it requires a complete reconfiguration.
You can find the tutorial for it if you click on the "help" button while you're on the settings page of that new payment method.
