Variants missing when copying products

-- url of the page with the problem -- : On localhost
-- HikaShop version -- : 3.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.6

Hello,

when I copy a product in Hikashop 3.4.0 the variants are missing. The ability to copy variants was present in earlier versions of Hikashop, where the copy of the product retains all the variants.

I don't want to cross post, but this post is related to a post in the Hikamarket section. For the full explaination please read this post:

Thank you for your excellent customer service.

Hi,

It has always been the same feature, before and after HikaShop 3.4.
The copy function can only work for the variants of the products if the product code of the main product is at the beginning of the product code of the variants, like it is the case by default when you add the variants in the product.
