SqueezeBox not always loading Images

Hi,

I bought the full version of HikaShop, and installed and setup it without any problem to my 1.6 Joomla test page. I encountered a one problem that I can't solve and would like to ask for your help.

When I click on a product and the details page opens the two image thumbnails displays correctly. But when I click one of the thumbnails the screen fades to black, but the image won't show up. However it does not occures always, when I reload the same page everything works fine. It's very hard to track a problem like this, I turned off all plugings now, Moomenu CK, a lightbox, socal plugins aswell, but its still bugged.

Just switch between products and click the thumbs and it will happen.

I'm guessing it's something with SqueezeBox perhaps.

You should try to update to Joomla 1.7

thank you for your answere, it really helped me out. First I thought upgrading to 1.7 will cause chaos on my site, and made a backup.
But after upgrade everything work as intended! I don't even had to touch anything else, just the update to 1.7 button in extensions update.

Just one more thing.

After Joomla upgrade, Hikashop shows "NOTIFICATION" on top of every page, but there arent any messages. What is this "NOTIFICATION" stands for? How can I remove it?

I don't know what you're talking about as we don't have such message on our end.
Could you do a screenshot ?

I found this "Notification" in hikashop language file:

NOTIFICATION="Notification" (line 136)

It appears on all page's content's top section.

I don't see any "notification" text on your pages.

sorry, yes. It's translated to hungarian now and it's shows as: "Értesítés"

That text is not displayed by HikaShop but by something else on your website.
The fact that HikaShop has the same text key in the language file is just a coincidence.
You could try to remove that translation key from the HikaShop translation files so that it displays the original error message.

Thanks, thats a great idea! I've mofified it and it's still there, so it isn't hikashop doing it.

I am having the same problem with the images in products. It comes up to a dark light box every single time and I never see the image. I am using Joomla 1.7. Please help.

Do you have that problem is different browsers ? Or just Firefox ?

I just replaced the modal.js file but now the images open in a seperate window. How do I go back?


The issue was in all browsers. im using Joomla 1.7

Download again the Joomla installation package, extract it, and get the original modal.js file and put it back. You don't have the problem explained on that thread.
