Resize Shopping Cart?

My shopping cart does not fit within my panel section. Is there a way to adjust the size or some how make it fit within the section area?

Yes. You can probably use some CSS for that.
If you would give the URL of your shop, we could give you a more precise advice.

The issue seems to only persist on Firfox and Safari on a OSX platform (on Macbook Pro) as I have tested the page at work on explorer on a windows platform and seems to work fine.

The shopping cart seems to be fine now however when you check out the login/registration screen doesnt fit within the area layout.
