Order details to Admin email address

Order details to Admin email address was created by zoomyman
Hello,

I use HikaShop Starter 1.4.9

Please help me to find out how can I set up the HikaShop script to send a full order information to the Admin email address (just like it is been sent to the customer).

I have tried to follow the instructions from this section ,but it did not work for me.

Hi,

The full information is sent in the admin email since 1.4.9.
If you don't see it, it's probably because you updated from a previous version of HikaShop.
In that case, you will have to edit the table hikashop_config and you should check the entry called "order_admin_notification.html" and set it to 1 with phpmyadmin.

Hi,

I did not update from older version, it was a fresh install.
Just checked -it was set to 1, but still does not work. I only get the notification from file called 'order_admin_notification.text.php'

Please double check the name of the entry in the table as their are several of the entries with a namekey close to that one.
That solution has solved the problem for someone else one week ago so I really think that it should solve yours as well: www.hikashop.com/en/support/forum/4-how-...to-paypal.html#14425

Are you talking about the email sent when the order is created ? Or the email when a payment notification is received ?
Maybe you could do a screenshot of the email received ?

Do you have the file order_admin_notification.html.php ? Do you have a file order_admin_notification.html.modified.php ?
I must say that I'm starting to be out of ideas...
That might require to put traces in the code in order to understand the problem.

Yes I have order_admin_notification.html.php, but I do not have the order_admin_notification.html.modified.php . Does it have to be in the same folder? If so, there is no file called order_admin_notification.html.modified.php in media/com_hikashop/mail folder on my server. I have just checked, file called order_admin_notification.html.modified.php is also missing in an installation package (com_hikashop_starter_1.4.9_2011-04-29) .

It's normal that you don't have the modified file.
Could you provide us with a FTP and back end access so that we can look at the problem and fix it? You can use our contact form in order to send the information.

Hi,

We just put traces in the code and didn't found any problem. So we temporarily rerouted the order admin notifications to one of our email addresses and we got the email with the HTML as expected. That means that the problem comes from your email client which is set to display emails in text mode and not in HTML mode.
We've reverted the changes we added to your websites files during our tests.

Thank you for your time, Nicolas.

I do get a 'New Order created' with full details, which is usefull, but I would also like to get a 'Payment Completed' notification with full details as well, because the 'Payment Completed' email is what is used to confirm a successfull payment and requires sending of the product to the customer, isn't it?

Any chanse to get full order details included in 'Payment Completed' email as well?

Not in the short term.
The payment emails are not handled by HikaShop directly but by each payment plugin because each payment plugin needs to send different emails to the administrator based on the return from the payment gateway... There would be a lot of work to have these emails like the others.
Alternatively, you could directly edit the payment plugin you're using and add a big bunch of code for that in the body of the email, but that's not a 2 lines modification...
