I would like to add comments to the products.
I noticed that we must have JComments. I tried and I've seen that does not work with joomla 1.7.3.
Some alternative solution?

We are working on a rating/comment system. This new features should be available in a few weeks, maybe in the next release.

It has been released along with the 1.5.7 version more than a week ago. You can activate it under the Display tab of the configuration after updating.

Found it; it was Vote!

But it does not seem complete.
On the front end does not say anything, you do not understand what it is. It is not clear what to do!

I meant to say that it is the user that do not understand why in the product page appears a number to be setted without indicating what it is. (I guess the stars).
Below, is a form to fill without that we understand what is it and why you must fill out.

In my opinion, then, under the product, you should see only the comments left and a button to press if you want to leave an additional comment; otherwise there is confusion.

Point taken. If you want, you can edit the file "listing" of the view "vote" via the menu Display->Views and add some text at the beginning.

Why is there always the form to fill up ?
There is always the form, for everyone.

in the meantime I found a new version of JComments for Joomla 1.7.
It works.
It 's almost like I mentioned to you in my previous post!
Unfortunately does not have the ability to enable comments to only buyers.
While vote-Hika have it!
And then ...
help me please make Hika-vote work as JComments.
I would prefer hika !!

Indeed the form shouldn't be displayed if the user doesn't have access to it. We'll change that for next version. Thank you for the feedback.

Hi,
I updated to a new version 1.5.8.
Now it is better.
I set "VOTE only" on my site.
About the comment ... it seems to be incomplete yet.
There isn't the administration of the comments; how can the administrator approve the comments?
And, on the e-mail that the system send to the admin there is not the link to the comment.

I'm working to translate the italian file language about the last version. I'll send you as soon as possible.

The email problem has been corrected, it will be in the next release.

You can correct it now by editing the file:
YourWebsite\administrator\components\comhikasop\classes\vote.php

And replace the line:
Code:
$this->sendNotifComment($element->comment,$element->product_id,$element->user_id,$element->pseudo_comment,$element->email_comment);
By:
Code:
$this->sendNotifComment($vote_id, $element->comment,$element->product_id,$element->user_id,$element->pseudo_comment,$element->email_comment);

For safari I don't see any problem on my end, What is wrong ?
