For your safari problem, it sounds like a cache issue. Please flush your safari's cache.

There is no latest comments module yet.

I flushed it but nothing is changed. I have safari 5.1.4.
But are you be able to see the stars in your safari?
If yes it is my problem.
Never mind.

On our test websites, yes we can see the stars properly.

Could you give a link to your page so that we can look at it with safari ?

Hi,

On Safari/Chrome there is a javascript error : Uncaught TypeError: Object 4360 has no method 'apply'
I don't know exactly where this error come from but it impact the HikaShop vote initialization.
The event "domready" is not called and so, HikaShop can't initialize the vote system on the webpage.

The javascript error does not append with Firefox.
Maybe something between JQuery and Mootools ?

No, that's not a problem with HikaShop.
It's a javascript error from something else on your website which stops the processing of the rest of the javascript on the page. Because of that, the javascript code of HikaShop does not run and the stars are not displayed by the javascript code of HikaShop.
If you fix the javascript error, it will fix the stars.
Possible sources of the error:

jce media box
the template

Well, you should contact the support of your template provider. They should be able to help you fix the javascript error.

I contacted the template creator (Webberry).
He said:
"The stars of the votings are generated by javascript. So normaly when some scripts don't work correct, there will be a javascript conflict between different scripts that are used on your site.
Often when some extensions using different javascript frameworks. Joomla are using "mootools" and perhaps "nivo-slider" using "jQuery". For testing if this will be the reason you should
deactivate all extension which are using javascript to see if this fixe the issue.

The template is only using one script. It's "UvumiDropdown.js" to animate the main-menu and it's using mootools.

But there are many more scripts included:

1. core.js
2. hikashop.js
3. jcemediabox.js
4. jquery-1.6.1min.js
5. jquery.nivo.slider.js
6. plusone.js
7. vote.js

Perhaps hikashop can tell us which ones are needed for hikashop.

I didn't see jquery library when I looked at the headers but if it's there, then there is a high chance to be the root of the problem and it's probably a conflict between mootools and jquery. In such cases, installing and publishing the plugin jquery easy usually fixes the conflict.
If that doesn't help then I don't know.

HikaShop uses hikashop.js and vote.js
Mootools is also used in some cases for ajax/modal popups/effects in HikaShop but it's not needed for the stars display.

I tried jquery easy.
I'm no expert and I've tried just the basic options.
The problem of the stars is not solved. Also it stops the operation of Nivo slider and the load time of pages seems longer.

I think it is better if I give up. So I'll solve also the issue of the redirects URL!
