Hello we are about to launch the website, and we are doing some tests, however when i create account on the website it ask me to validate the email address which is i DID, then i add to cart then check out for pick up not delivery then i ask to pay cash, then finish , it comes with the above error, please see attachment,

I too have the same issue.

This happened after the latest update to Joomla 3.5.1 this morning
I have put our webshop offline to find the solution to this, but in veil.
We do have many customers, so I will have to restore the site from an earlier backup to before the Joomla 3.5.1 update of today.
This only has to do with Hikashop, because all the other websites we have are ok - but they do not have any webshops.

This seems to be a "mail address" issue, as the orders are registered, but no communication are performed. Email History is empty for emails of all orders created after the joomla update.

I have run several test orders, and the same error image shows up every time. The orders are registered backend - but no email communication with the webshop is performed. And our customers will only view the error image given by the image shown in this post originally.

Hope someone may find out what this is to have it fixed.

I have to agree with you, I was about to launch, then i found the new update, so i did the update then i ran into this problem, what should I do?

Hi,

It's a change in Joomla 3.5.1 which caused the issue.
Just download HikaShop 2.6.2 install package on our website and install it on your website and it will add the patch for that problem.

How does this work with Essential? I do not see a version 2.6.2 download available for Essential, only the starter. If I install that over Essential, it wipes it out.

Installed Essential 2.6.2. Now the checkout shows No Payment methods found, but the same payment plugin is configured as before the updates.Tried unpublishing it and republishing it, tried adding some other kind of payment. But it is not recognizing anything.

Update:
It seems that the No Payment Methods Found error is not picking up the Authorize plugin! This is too weird!!

I published the Amazon plugin and a few others and all of them appeared. The Authorize plugin is what I had configured before and made no changes to it

Thank you for your feedback. We've added a patch to fix that. Download again the install package on our website and install it on your website and that will fix the problem. It came from another fix that we added in the plugin to correct the label of the "Allow notifications from Authorize.net" option of the plugin which prevented the plugin from being properly initialized for the checkout.

You can download the install package via the menu My account>My subscriptions on our website when logged in with the user account who made the purchase.
