Hi,

I tried to follow your documentation but it seems rather complicated and I still cant get it to work. Can you walk me through step by step on how I can achieve this. Offline we will be giving out some promo codes generated from Hikaserial to our customers, and they can use this codes online to purchase products(using hikashop) at our website and get a discount on the product. I have used the coupon generator and assign a pack to the product, but when I checkout and apply the code it is not working.

How can I achieve this? And where can I see the serials that are generated so I can give it out to customers offline?

Hello,

We already have a step-by-step documentations for that :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...serial-tutorial.html
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...ticket-tutorial.html

I'm afraid that if I gave you a step-by-step, it will be the exact same thing.
Now if you gave us more details about what you have done and what "is not working", it will allow us to tell you what is missing or what is not configured as it should for your case.

Hi,

Following the tutorial I have creating the pack and associate it with a product. Creating the Coupon Generator as well, and the coupon template. (pls see attached images) How do they all work together to generate the serials/coupons I can give out to the customers offline? I don't see any list of serials generated anywhere I can use.

Hello,

CF : www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ugins-coupongen.html

Your coupon generator configuration is not right.
- You did not select the coupon template
- You put a variable discount (depending the product price) while that's not what you want.

But fixing these two elements, HikaSerial should then generate coupons in the same time as the serials.

Hi,

Still nothing is there after making the changes. ie. putting the discount coupon id and removing the variable discount. If configured correctly, where can I see the list of serials which I can use and give out?

Hi,

You'll need to edit your coupon template in order to configure a quota ; it will be better for the usage at the end.

About your configuration ; now that your generator is configured, you should be able to create serials when the order is confirmed.
In the HikaShop backend, you can display an order details. You will see a zone for the HikaSerial serials.
If that zone is empty and you have a product which give serials ; you can :
- Confirm the order is the order is not already confirmed.
- Click on the button "refresh serials" if the order is already confirmed but the serial generation went wrong.

Then you should have some serials and the pending coupon in the HikaShop coupon listing.

In order to check what "confirmed" status allow to generate serials, you can check your HikaSerial configuration.

Hi,

I've created an order at the backend and the order is not "confirmed" and clicked on the "refresh associations" button as well, but no serials or coupons came out at the coupon listing. Can you check my backend? I think it can save us alot of time going back and forth like this.

Furthermore, I thought this hikaserial plugin can auto generate coupons at the backend without the need to create an order. So each time I need a coupon to use I need to create an order?

Hello,

If your order is not confirmed, you cannot have serials.

Please read carefully my previous message and that setting in the documentation page :
