Points like gift card ?

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.2

Hi, I want to ask if it is possible to sell points like gift card? My goal is for customers to be able to buy credit in points. I have a similar idea for the HikaSerial Subscription. If possible, can you tell how this is done or some manual.

Hello,

Sure it requires HikaSerial and there is already all plugins for points.
Generation :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...ugins-pointsgen.html
And Consumption :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...-pointsconsumer.html

HikaSerial also provide the gift card feature via its plugins :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ns-attachserial.html
(and also the PDF serial which is working the same but generates a PDF instead of an image).

Afterwards, it's a classical HikaSerial configuration.
Best is to start with the tutorial but to use the "points generator" instead of the "random" plugin.
Because there is the consumption of serials (to gain the points) ; best is to follow the "e-tickets" tutorial :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...ticket-tutorial.html
