The PROPHETdesign company mandated Tsuki Dev in May 2021 to develop the plugiin for postfinance.
Postfinance allow to use twint.
The situation is difficult with postfinance, but we are reaching our goal with a lot of patience and investment of time.
At least we hope so, because with each problem resolution, a new one is added.
As said, we are at 6 months of development and we are not at the end.
We will keep you informed of the situation.

Thank you very much for your work!
I have installed the plugin but I get an error 442 from Ckeckout. Did I forget a parameter? Does it work in test mode?

Thank you for this plugin! It works great.
Is there any possibility to have the name or order number or any reference included in the transaction with TWINT. So far we get the corrected amount (fee for transaction deducted) but no other info to assign the transaction to the order in the hikashop.
Kind regards
Silvio

The plugin works great, thanks.
Only the custom return URL is ignored. Instead of this, the standard after_end notice is displayed in our shop. Do you have an idea what the problem is?
Best regards,
Stefan

Great, can you show us how you configured your PostFinance through some screenshots by sending us an email so that we can check and debug it with you ? Thank you.

There is another way to use Twint than with Postfinance, Saferpay with this plugin www.codester.com/items/38748/hikashop-saferpay-joomla-module
I strongly recommend it, it works very well! For those who don't like Postfinance which are too expensive with their rental.

the Postfinance plugin and using TWINT as a payment method, work well which I think this is a great achievement from Tsuki Dev.
Most of the time, the payment notification email arrives 2 times at the same time. We checked all the settings and couldn't find any error there.
Does anybody else experience the same problem? Is there any remedy to this?
regards
Silvio

We were actually working with other customers to fix that issue, can you download the last version of the plugin through Hikashop's website, install it and test it again ?
Also, if you're still having that issue, a solution can eventually be to set your webhook listener "entity state" field to :
- Completed
- Failed
- Decline
And remove the Fulfill one.

Mohamed Thelji.

this is really strange. It seemed to work better for some days and now most of the mails arrive double again.
How can that be that it sometimes works, even for a period of time, and then again fails?
Are you still working on a solution for this?
On the screenshot you can see the Order History which shows also there that the order gets sometimes confirmed 2 times. The first «confirmed» is from the costumer User/IP. The second confirmed seems to be an IP in Ireland, probably the payment provider.

Silvio

In that case, can you :
- Enable the debug mode through your Hikashop [strike]Square[/strike] PostFinance payment method configuration page ("Hikashop->System->Payment methods")
- Send us via email (tsukidev.contact[at]gmail[dot]com) a temporary access to your back-end with the ID of an order which had the problem after setting the debug mode to Yes.
So that we can properly test and debug it on your website ? Thank you.
You can send

Thanks. I enabled now the Debug mode on that payment method (not Square, TWINT through PostFinance).
I will send you the access once I get a double confirmation again.
Do you have any idea why we see that IP address from Ireland?

Silvio

Yes, that's probably coming from PostFinance servers which triggered the webhook you configured on your merchant space.Do you have any idea why we see that IP address from Ireland?

Why are then sometimes these «PostFinance Servers» used for confirmation and sometimes the user with his IP address and sometimes both (which then lead to double confirmation emails).
I can not figure out any logic in this.
There were no instances of double comfirmation emails since I activated the debug mode.

Because sometime payments can have several statuses : "created" -> "pending" -> "confirmed" / "cancelled"Why are then sometimes these «PostFinance Servers» used for confirmation and sometimes the user with his IP address and sometimes both (which then lead to double confirmation emails).
I can not figure out any logic in this.
The first notification is received when your customer is redirected to your website, and the payment status can be set to "pending" or "confirmed" / "cancelled".
If the status is "pending", then a new notification needs to be triggered and it will be triggered by "PostFinance servers" by using the webhook you configured.
Kind regards,
Mohamed Thelji.
