Hello,
Thank's for the link ;)

I haven't set up a payment with Twint yet, so I might say something silly...
I've seen that when you set up a seller account with Twint you get a QR code.
If we put an image of this QR code in a payment plugin like the one provided to indicate the coordinates of a bank transfer it would already allow us to use Twint no?
Of course it's not a payment with validation in the shop but for the majority of small shops it would be a first solution.

Yes absolutely, it's a solution that works for small shops. The seller must manually confirm the arrival of the payment.

The problem with this solution is that the product must be taken out of stock as soon as the order is placed.
If the money doesn't arrive the product is out of stock until the seller cancels the sale. This can be damaging… when the stock is at 1.

But yes, at least it allows you to accept TWINT you are right.

Can you ACTUALLY process TWINT payments with this solution (or is it just a manual QRcode creation for "personal money exchanges" between private people?
Because that would contradict my experience with TWINT, who are extremly reluctant with publishing technical information (we had to sign an NDA in order to get access to the tech-documents).

On the next page we see that there are plugins for the majority of online shop systems, including the main ones that work under WordPress :

If the majority are developed by sellxed, there are also other developers, maybe it's not so complicated ;)

We have requested a personal Shop at Twint.
What will present it a generic code without the effective amount.
the effective amount needs to be entered by the customer manually.
This would mean that the payment verification is manually afterwards.
But as Twint sends a SMS of the payment it can be verified manually and set to paid.
But as the costs are lower instead of an integration with Datatrans or Paypal it is a possibility

Full integration QR-Code with the effective amount and verification of payment would be preferred.

Hello everyone,

Today I have been in contact with the TWINT development team.

There is an integration with STRIPE in progress, it will be available soon, we can speed things up by writing to STRIPE to indicate our interest: support.stripe.com/contact/email?topic=third_party_integrations

on the other hand, TWINT is interested in creating a plugin for Hikashop.
We can also try to speed up the process by indicating our interest:yves.jubin@twint.ch

but then, if in the same day you have 5 orders of CHF50.- and there are 3 that are paid. how do you know who paid? and therefore to whom to send the orders?

the problem is there with TWINT, you do not know who paid with this method.

This is so "not-surprising"!

TWINT seems to have only waited until there is a decent number of interested people ... and now instead of working together with well-qualified software developers, they rather like to cash in on their own (I am sure they are not asking themselfes to pay a large upfront licence fee for this development).

I am not impressed!

The list of plugins evolves but still nothing for HikaShop : www.twint.ch/fr/clients-commerciaux/produits/plugins/
I sent an email to Yves Jubin (yves.jubin@twint.ch thank you Gabriel) to get some news, we'll see if he answers me ;)

As Marti did, I would recommend you send an email to yves.jubin@twint.ch
The more people tell them that they want a plugin for twint for HikaShop, the more pressure they'll have to have it done, one way or another.

Je lui ai transmis le lien de ce fil de discussion en lui demandant de bien vouloir se renseigner et revenir à nous sur ce forum.

This is really sad.
Nearly 6 years ago this thread was started and still no solution in sight.
The Plugin that hikashop offers for Postfinance doesn't work any longer, so also no workaround there.
I also wrote to Mr. Jubin from Twint and await his answer.
But for now the only solution seems to be to switch to another shop solution.

I am also on the verge of switching to wordpresse and woocommerce.

Being loyal to joomla since its early days, I try everything possible to meet the demand of my customers by staying on Joomla.

So, I hired Tsuki dev to code a payment plugin for the new postfinance solution:
- postfinance checkout flex.
- postfinance checkout all in one.

This will allow :
- PostFinance e-finance
- PostFinance Card
- TWINT
- VISA
- Mastercard

At the end of the development it will be made available to Hikashop customers.
