How to set up options for a product?

How can I add options to a product? For example if I have several different colors of an item, how do I let the buyer choose which they want? Just point me to the docs if it exists and I will figure it out

Hi,

It depends what you want.
For colors selection, you usually want to use characteristics/variants:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...isplay-by-color.html
www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...html#characteristics
demo.hikashop.com/index.php/en/hikashop/...with-characteristics
For options (like whether you want a mouse or not with the purchase of your computer), you can use options instead:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i...ct-form.html#options
demo.hikashop.com/index.php/en/hikashop/...ct-page/with-options
Now you can also have options with custom fields in some cases but that requires HikaShop Business:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/4...shop-field-form.html
demo.hikashop.com/index.php/en/hikashop/product-page/with-form

Awesome! That answered my questions with the second link. Thanks!
