Images not uploading

That's because those plugins are the only files for which I didn't correct the access rights last time. Thus, joomla was not able to overwrite them now that you activated the FTP layer (because the FTP user doesn't have access to those files, only the web server has). That's basically the problem I was talking about when I warned you that you should use the FTP layer.
Anyway, those files were not changed between 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 so you can ignore the error messages. HikaShop will function properly.

OK cool, i did get onto the webhost to change the owner of files and he assured my that it had been put right.

I have just published the hikashop products / category search plugin but it doesnt seem to appear on the website. Is the plugin included with the starter edition?

The search plugins just hook themselves to the standard joomla search. So once you published the search plugins you also need to publish the joomla search module which will handle the display.

Thanks, i think i`m nearly there. I have been given some breathing space in terms of when i hand the website over. I am meeting with my client on Wednesday to collect all his product info and images so i can populate the cart and do test purchases. I probably have another 2 weeks or so. I`ll let you know if i have any problems with checkout etc.

ok, i did the update last night and have just come to try to re-order the catagories but it still wont let me re-order. It let me move only one catagory once and now it seems it doesnt want to move anymore. The page will refresh but nothing has changed.

We put a new version online which fixes the problem among other things.

Thanks for the quick update, however, when i install update i get error. I have tried joomla auto installer and also via the .tmp folder, this is the error

Just to let you know, its fixed :silly: thanks! Now i have to work on the checkout page width as mentioned earlier in this thread, i`ve not had a chance to make the changes yet.
