That's strange indeed.

Thank you for your feedback.

Others had that problem on Chrome on Windows and again we couldn't reproduce it. Maybe it's related to their cache on their Chrome too.

Hi / Bonjour Nicolas,

Therefore i invite other people to clear cache at first and to check it because on fresh browse i didn't have this issue. I tried on FF, Opera, IE, Safari and Chrome without any trouble now.

At first i installed the starter edition..but after few hours, i decided to buy the business edition as i wasn't satisfied about new VM component status.
i guess the bug is in starter edition.
I also read a thread that people having the started edition needed firstly to put shop off-line and to make changes and save it. next to put online to reactivate data saving.

so i believe issue is in starter edition.

Anyway, i'm very pleased till now (only 2 days with hikashop) with your component.

A.

Thanks.

The checkout workflow setup screen is the same in all versions so I believe that the version you have doesn't matter for that problem to occur. Anyway, I'm glad you found out.

Between Christmas and New Year I bought a brand new barebone PC and had my browsers (including Google Crome) installed from scratch. While the problem persists on my old PC, it works like a charm on the new one with both Google Crome and MSIE (both latest versions) and the HikaShop Starter kit.

Although we shouldn't jump to conlusions, maybe the question is what the difference is between a(n older) Google Crome, painstakenly patched through Google's updates, and a brand new Google Crome installation? Is "stuff" remaining unpatched and not up to par, e.g. JavaScript stubs, that HikaShop uses for its interface?

We're using mootools (the version included in joomla by default) for that piece of interface. Maybe there is an incompatibility between that version of mootools and some versions of chrome ? I couldn't find much information on that on Google though.

Hi,

We are still unable to reproduce the problem on our end. If someone having the problem on his website coudl share a back end access, we would be able to look at the problem.

I have just paid for the business version, looks great but tried all the things in the forum and still cant get the:

Your checkout workflow is empty.
Checkout workflow invalid. The modification is ignored. See the documentation for more information on how to configure that option
No valid weight unit entered. The system put back the default units.
No valid dimension unit entered. The system put back the default units.
Successfully Saved

Error, really annoying. None of the fixes in here work. I am using Chrome.

Help!!!

Ok, so it is just Google Chrome that has the issue, i have just installed the latest:

Firefox
Safari
IE

It works fine but as soon as i use chrome it has that error.

Does anyone know how to stop it from doing it?

Considering I just spent £100 this could be a real show stopper.

Since using firefox to configure it when i then use chrome it works fine. I think maybe it is an initial issue if you install with chrome then edit the config for the first time with chrome. Thansk for the quick reply though.

Yes, and it doesn't happen for all the websites either.
That's why we were not able to reproduce it yet and thus fix it.
If you happen to reproduce it in the future, don't hesitate to contact us so that we can look at it.
