I have a problem with the Checkout in Hikashop

With products added to the cart at the checkout page there is no confirm or next button, only a "continue shopping" button.

attached is an image to show what I mean.

Cheers

The next button is only displayed once you're logged in.
See the "register" button at the top of your screenshot. If you register, you will then see the next button.

If the user already registered previously via HikaShop his address should already be selected (otherwise it may come from a bug which we already corrected a while back so make sure that you have a recent version of HikaShop ( 1.5.3 or more ) ).

If the user registered via joomla or another component, HikaShop doesn't know his address, so you have that message.
The user can just click on the "new" button to create his address.

In that case I have a login or register problem.

New users enter their details inc address and click register, it sends the link which takes you back to the checkout, but still no proceed button.

It still doesn't show if I log out then go to checkout then log in.

All it says when I do the above is "Please Create or Select and Address"

Also there is no "New" address button.

First make sure that you're using the latest version of HikaShop via the menu Components>HikaShop>Update/About us as there was such problem in a previous version of HikaShop.

Then, you could activate the debug mode in the joomla configuration and try again. That might display an error message during that process.

If all that does not solve the problem or does not show any errors, please provide a link to your shop so that we can see the problem.

It says I am running the latest version.

Debug shows no errors either, could it be a javascript problem?

No, I doubt that.

Could you give a link to your shop so that we can see the problem ?

You had several problems:
1. The checkout workflow in the configuration of HikaShop was not valid.

2. You had "registered" on the checkout with an address email and then you had used the same address email to create a joomla account. Thus, even while logged in, the system was still displaying the registration form.
I've fixed that be deleting the hikashop user in HikaShop. Then, I was able to move forward in the checkout.
