user conflict problem joomla & hikashop

not sure if this is a bug but , if you register a user through the cart and make an order.
then remove that user from the Joomla > Users DB
the Users Details will be removed from HS but.. will leave an empty user behind
then.. if you try to re-register with the same user details (email) weird things may happen.

to fix this.. I think!, you need to;

1.) remove orders for user (blank user in my case)
2.) remove user from HS DB
3.) remove user from joomla (users DB)

hope this helps.

problems that may indicate the need to do the above.

* unable to logout of HikaShop/Joomla
* trying to re-register user after removing from joomla users DB (only)
* being presented with Registration page after Registering and receiving errors in top bar relating to products
* different (blank) users address being defaulted to new user at checkout.
* other misc happenings.

Hi,

Indeed orders need to be removed separately when deleting a user. If you delete a user, HikaShop won't deleting the orders as they might still be needed for accounting or other things, even if the user is not there anymore.

In fact, you can skip step 2. If a user doesn't have any orders and that you delete it in Joomla, it will also be deleted in HikaShop automatically along with his addresses.

aha , Good Stuff.. yes doing some extensive testing atm in regards to the login/out part of things.
nearly there lol. appreciate your efforts.
have PMD you regarding a small problem in regards to new user registrations;
