multi-vendor

Presentation

The fees in HikaMarket allow you to configure the price fee (or commission) for your vendors.
We called "fee" the price that your store will keep in the vendor transaction.
So with a 10% configured fee, the vendor price will be 90% of the order product prices.

Please note that HikaMarket have also a notion of "fee / commission" for the payments.
We called "fee mode" when your store will be paid directly and you will have to pay them back.
We called "commission mode" when your vendors are paid directly and they have to pay you back (your commission).

The fees inheritance

The fees configuration can be override per vendor and per product. The system have an inheritance structure.
General configuration > Vendor configuration > Product configuration
HikaMarket will start to look at the fee configuration in the product itself, then in the vendor and finally in the global configuration.

So if you configure some fees for a product, you will be sure that only this fee configuration will be use when the product will be bought. You can use it if you have a very special deal for a product.
You can override the fees for a specific vendor or simply add a new rule. If any vendor rule match with the order, the fees in the global configuration will be use.

The fees configuration

The fee configuration interface is quite the same in the different parts (configuration / vendor / product) but some fields are not present in the product page because it does not have implication.
