It's HikaShop Business 4.0.3 [1903081604] "out of the box", no mods.
A basic site under Protostar, stripped from all irrelevant content like articles etc.

Hi,

Thank you for the accesses. I've made some extra modifications and it seems to be working fine now on your website. I've also added the different patchs to the 4.1.0 install package actually available on our website. So if you need the changes on the URLs, you can just update to the 4.1.0 and it will work.

For the usual reasons, I intend to wait a bit still before updating to 4.1.0.
Mind telling what those "extra modifications" are? Like which files are affected or so?

Hi,

There are several modifications in several files (even some critical file).
It's not that simple to change. That's why I didn't provided them in my previous message and rather recommend to update to get all the changes at once.

Hi,

And sorry, but I need to bring this back up again because under a certain condition it does not work.

I'm using user points (actually AUP, but that's irrelevant), as well as the HikaShop User Points payment plugin. SEF URLs are enabled.
If I choose to partially pay with points, then click "Finish" in checkout, I'm sent back to the first step and the page displays fine but then the URL of the page is

.../checkout/checkout/show/cart_id-14690
(or whatever other cart ID) instead of just
.../checkout/cid-1

Real trouble starts when the "Next" button is clicked on the ".../checkout/checkout/show/cart_id-14690" page. The URL called is then
.../checkout/cid-1/cart_id-14690
and an "Access forbidden" error is thrown on an otherwise empty page.

If I remove the "/cart_id-14690" part and load the page, it's displays ok again.

Obviously a problem caused by the HikaShop User Points payment plugin?

Hi,

I'm not able to reproduce the problem on my end. So I suspect that it must happen only in some cases.
I've added some patchs on my end which should hopefully avoid the problem.
Please download the install package on our website and install it again and that should fix the problem.

Now, there's some improvement, but we're not out of the woods, yet.

What happens now after selecting (partial) payment with points and clicking "Finish" is:

I'm landing back at step 1 of the checkout (in my case; address), then with the URL

.../checkout/checkout/show
which isn't ideal, but I could live with it because, when clicking "Next" and going through checkout again, the "Access forbidden" error is gone and pages load properly with URLs
.../checkout/cid-X
(X being the step number).

But... worse (even worse than before, haha), the points have not been applied: when going through the checkout steps again, all is the same as before, no coupon applied, no discount for points, and, if I keep selecting points as payment method, I could do this loop forever without ever finishing.
Just for the record: I've only installed a fresh download, nothing else had been changed.

So, still buggy, just differently. ;)
Since you're saying you can't reproduce: if you want me to set up a test site again with full access for you, please let me know, it can be arranged, and I'd get you backend and FTP access per email again.

Great, thanks, will do.

Was just about to post that the previous patch ruined other payment methods like bank transfer as well by sending me into the same loop, but I'll apply the latest changes first and test again, then report back here.

Ok, this latest patch fixes pretty much everything... phew!

What's left is:

1. When using partial points payment and being sent back to step 1 of checkout, the URL is still

.../checkout/checkout/show
while the URLs of all following steps are ok and
.../checkout/cid-X

2. Whatever payment method, after finishing checkout / order creation, the "end" page is
.../checkout/checkout/confirm

Well, since everything is functional now, this remaining "/checkout/checkout/..." thingy could be put away under "vanity" and forgotten.So, I shall leave that to you and stop moaning! :cheer:
